While Matt did the best he could to spice up an EV drag race, its simply just so much less interesting than most of their ICE drag races (and even those have become extremely old and repetitive), especially between 4 two-plus ton SUV's.

So… They used a non-Performance Tesla to what? Spice things up?

They also didn't use the iX M60 either. So that's fair.

The iX likely appeals more to people who are not traditional BMW buyers. My wife, for instance, is ditching her Model Y Performance for the iX. Interestingly she had picked the MY over the e-tron because of the range. However, after living with an EV for over a year, range anxiety is gone. They are great DD and even overnight trips. Plenty of charging options at least in the East Coast…

I suspect the real world range of the iX will probably be about the same as the model X as well…

Why? It's a drag race and not a comparison video.

That is true for all of BMW's design. It's generally the staunch traditionalist that is resistant to change.

The Audi is miles better looking than the other three combined. My two cents.

To be fair to that side of the aisle, the iX looks like a great car. Car, not BMW. It looks devoid of a large number of traditional BMW distinctions, both inside and out.
