02 Sensor code came and went on its own, what could cause it?

Hey everyone, I got a check engine light the other day and pulled the following;

2C9E- 02 sensor after cat
2DED- closed circuit violation

Ordered two new 02 sensors and should be here today, this morning the CEL was gone. Is it possible the 02 sensors are good? With the closed circuit violation also present is that an indication my sensor wires are getting too hot or pinched?

I will probably just replace them anyways since they are on the way, but just curious if anyone thinks this could be related to a different issue. I have been chasing boost leaks and intermittent throttle response issues for a while now
