Hey Everyone,
I ordered a 2022 m550 mid October. It entered assembly 2 days ago on Wednesday and it's already on the way to what I assume is Bremerhaven. Does anyone else have anything headed to Bremerhaven now? Port of entry is Baltimore to eventually arrive into the great chasm of shit known as IL. Would be neat to find a ship mate to compare notes with when the vessel crosses the pond.

Mine landed in Baltimore after 10 days on the Hawaii Highway vessel.Once you know which vessel your car is on you can track for free on line. MIne went from Germany to Porugal and then staright to US. It was fun to watch. Now I am stuck in stop sale for the ram.

Do you remember how long it took you from being dispatched from factory to getting on a ship?

I'm at port status currently (since 1/19) waiting or getting on a ship ATM. Destination central FL dealership.

Mine arrived at the port in Bremerhaven on 12/9 and departed on the Horizon Highway on 12/29.

My status changed to at the port on 1/19 and still there almost a week later. Some people are just blessed with delays at every step 😊.

this is all so surreal and we have no recourse as all the German car companies are in the same position pulling the same shit.

Yea. just contacted my dealer and he said nothing we all don't already know. They'll install it at the port in Baltimore. No eta when parts or car will be ready. Meanwhile, my current lease ends this month which I extended to February. Looks like I'll need to extend into March now. Too boot I ran out of the 50k mile warranty 200 miles ago and I'll probably put another 2500 miles on before the car gets here. Just need this X3 to hold together a little longer.

We turned in our other car (x3 M40i) in August. Didn't care to extend. Ordered the m550 in Sept and still waiting for it. Expecting end of Feb at this point maybe into March. WFH and newborn made it easy to share a car but at almost 6 months, I'm over it!!!

The worst part about it is the mind fuck. No one has an accurate time frame and they keep moving the field goal posts.

yup this is unreal. I still have my audi to drive which I love but its falling apart after 6 years.......... hoping no major issues

Still there. Since the 19th "at the port".

Here I am thinking the battle was won when the car was dispatched. Now I have another "enhancement" open (sidenote: I'd like to meet the group of assholes who ok'd the use of the term enhancement as code for making the customer wait). I tried searching for this new defect 0066640100 with no results so I asked the dealer. For sanity sake I'm done checking on anything car related for this month. Getting more and more pissed as time goes on.

It really does amaze me how all the german car comapnies have become so incompetent and or apathetic toward their customers and how fast it has happened. I bought my kids A5 2 years ago while things were still somewhat normal and while buying a car was never a wonderful experience its now exponetially worse. Hope all gets back to normal soon.

Well, I lied and checked this morning (ha,im pathetic). Car arrived at the port 6days after leaving factory. I see vessel arc integrity is moored at the dock which has had ports of call at possible bmw vdc's on the east coast. Hopefully someone gets on.
