May's rates are less desireable. I don't have them exactly, but the car I have configured has increased $22 / month for a 36 month 15k lease. I was told by my SA that the new residuals and MF have both changed and lease prices will go up between $20 and $30 / month.

My SA said the residuals AND money factor had changed. Are you sure the money factor on the 330i, 36 month lease is still 0.00225? That combined with the residual dropping from 68% to 62% made my payment jump way up on my calculator, higher than the bmwusa calculator on the same car, and higher than my SA quoted me!

Does this mean I should wait until June? Or will the rates go even higher? I thought car sales were down for the month of April? Maybe thats just domestic's, again...

So I guess if I decide to pop for the 335i I would have trouble finding takers to assume my 330i 24 month lease at $399/mo plus tax???

Nothing! Did an ED lease for 1000 over ED wholesale.....it pays to read these forums because the money factor dropped and residual went up to 77% (2yr/20K) just for Feb. Just paid first mo payment and the CA DMV first year tags.

Mine is actually $430 with my local sales tax.
I don't want to step on Gluck's toes....he was here first. Besides, my car hasn't been redelivered yet. My financial advisor would tell me to enjoy the low payments on this lease....and then try to extend it at the same payment for 6 months....and THEN get a 335 when the hype is over and the E90 has been refreshed....... By the way Gluck, it's not a sub-lease, it's a lease assumption and transfer. A sub-lease would imply that you are still responsible for the payments should the next guy default. Sorry, I'm kind of a "contracts language" freak.

you are correct, it is an assumption. Your advisor makes some strong points. For me, the car is more of a hobby/luxury as I live in Manhattan and only drive on the weekends, so "practicality" doesn't enter the picture so much....

My sister pays about $550 per month just to GARAGE her 325Cic in Manhattan....which she also only drives every other weekend....I'd definately call that a luxury!
