Aluminum Trim Replacement

I noticed in the general E90 thread that a guy in the US got his aluminum trim replaced under waranty.

Just wondered if any canucks have been able to get this done??

I've noticed that my trim has started to show some nicks and scratchs from the seatbelt hitting it (even though I've been so careful when I take my seatbelt off).

I would just take it to the dealer and tell them its from the seatbelt and see what they say. The worst they can say is no, right?

let me ding the woodtrim with the seatbelt and make some dents and have them replace it with aluminum

yeah i know, I didn't have a choice, my car was inventory and I like the colour and other options on the car. it's not like I personally opted for the wood *eewww*

Would this apply to wood trims as well? Mine is not dinged, in fact it has held up very well to seat belt pummeling. However, there are many visible swirls and minor scratches on my dash and centre console pieces. When I asked an SA about it, he said because it was nothing major he couldn't do much about it. Any thoughts?
