Lightbulb Mount sensor to connect to home automation

Hello all,

All new on the forum, nice to read along sometimes but now I would like to ask for help.

Recently someone broke into my car and stole quite some important ingredients of my dashboard; airbags, steeringwheel, navigation etc.

I have a complete Home Automation setup for every light in my house and garden and now I want to build in a sensor into my car. I would have to power it on 12V, no problem in the car I would guess. But I would like the sensor to send a signal when the door opens, or when the interior light goes on.
In that way I can make house lighting to go on and trigger an alarm.

Could anyone help me with this? I need a simple position in the car to get continuous power, and where I can take a switching current on opening a door.
Fuse box? Or interior light? Or in the door somewhere?

Thanks in advance!
