What is the difference between the US and RoW seats?

So from all of the pictures/videos that I have seen, in the UK and Germany at least if not the rest of world the seats appear different than the ones we get in the US. Other that the M logo up by they headrest I can't really see any other differences.

Is that the only difference between the US and RoW seats?

Normally I don't like extra badges etc however, on this car I actually like the mini ///M logos on the front side fenders and the M in the seat backs makes those seats look a tad nicer.

Garage List
The optional M seats are basically the standard M3/4 seats, with integrated headrest and bucket seat character.
They are quite different actually, more than a logo.

Ok, yes those are much better, I knew that I saw more than just the logo that was different.

I wonder why they are not offered in the US?

Ok, I officially want the UK version not the US one. I didn't realize how much different they were.

UK has much better seat (imo), can get no moonroof, has M seat belts, M Sport Diff, ambient lighting and probably a couple other items that I didn't realized the US version didn't have.

Guess I've been watching too many reviews from overseas people.

M diff and ambient lighting are standard in the US. I don’t think there’s actually much of a difference beyond the seats and a couple of aesthetic bits.
