My local dealers have already sold their launch cars. Anyone else seeing the initial demo cars disappearing already?

I live in Chicago and the 2 dealers closest to me both have their launch cars available. And the dealership I ordered it from has one sold and one available

Our Minneapolis dealer has one available. I will be waiting until the market catches up and dealers start discounting before buying mine however. I'm in no rush.

I placed an order almost a month ago at a Pittsburgh, PA dealer, but they are currently waiting for another allocation. They already sold their launch vehicles.

I ordered mine 5-6 weeks ago and it still hasnt entered production. I'd buy one in stock probably anywhere in the country.

I drove to a dealer 30 min away to check out a Brooklyn grey m240i as they got one in yesterday. It's already sold and I asked the salesperson and he stated that has no allocations.

The red leather is gorgeous btw. I hadn't seen it in person until today and just emailed my salesperson and switched from black to red leather on my order.

Checked out 2 different dealers yesterday...One had only an Alpine White on showroom floor. Was going to test drive it, but the Drive to End Hunger promotion started today and he didn't think I would qualify for $1K discount if I did it early. Today I went to a third dealer where I bought my 435..BMW inventory said he had 1 with several on the way. There were none. Did get the best trade # there plus $2K loyalty discount to go with the $1K. Went back to drive the Alpine White...Exactly as everyone has described it even with A/S Run Flats. Will return to order as soon as I make my mind up on color/Wheels (Thundernight or BSM).

Motorwerks in Minneapolis is a awful dealership. I tried to buy their car and said they are not interested in selling.

Thank god I have several dealerships I work with and another one is available with a healthy discount and a great trade value.

I've been fortunate with Motorwerks, but certainly have no dealership loyalty either. Crazy how they're being on that 240! After all, once this launch is over and the market catches up, these will not be hard to get.
