UK owners what mats/liners are using for floor protection in winter

Would appreciate some feedback from UK (RHD) owners on their experience with floor mats and liners for winter use.

Do a lot of walking/hiking/MTB riding so mud, water, sand etc is a constant.

Have used WeatherTech liners on previous cars, but this isn't an option on RHD X3's.

Cheers.

I'm thinking the same.....but guessing there is no real alternative to OEM?

Yea, the BMW All Weather Rubber mats look like the only available option I can find, although they don't offer extended coverage.

Would be interested in how many cars it takes to make it worthwhile for WeatherTech etc to make RHD version. AFAIK the G01 is still the same, so there must be many out there since luanch in RHD countries.

I use the OEM BMW rubber mats and have a waterproof tailored boot liner.

If anyone has best prices / links for the OEM mats and that beautiful boot liner pls let me know as definitely want a set for new car on order.

I’ve bought OEM parts from cotswold BMW before (big on babybmw forum) with competitive prices but if you have any details then let me know as keen to order.

Ps - any tips on keeping clean / nice? I have found that just hosing them down (in existing car ones) then hanging to dry can leave water marks on. I now scrub using fairy liquid but they never come out “shiny” black or as nice as vacuumed carpet mats do. Cheers!

Thanks, the Bootliner-uk stuff looks good and is already on my list. Does it cause any damage using the velcro fixing on the carpet?

The OEM rubber mats are good - did a deal when purchased. Nice close fit, had mine 3 years, use for around 5 months over the winter. Tough and durable.

Boot mat is by Cooliner - https://www.carbox.co.uk/product-cat...3-g01-11-2017/

Not bad for what it is, and has a 5yr guarantee. Have cut out the bits for the boot rails and used velcro to keep in place. At the price, I felt I couldn't go wrong.

Very helpful many thanks. I saw the one on the link just covers the boot floor but one above appears to go up the sides too - is this the same one or some XL version with side / back protection too? Really looks nice and well fitted.

I’ve just ordered some mats from Cotswold BMW … £112 as opposed to BMW store £137.

I’m fed up of trying to clean the carpet mats … 2.5 years and they are wearing a bit too much for my liking so this will give them some respite.

Got mine from Cotswold. They are decent and a complete upgrade from the fabric mats.

Yeah thats the same one, it has a bumper flap so the rear bumper doesn't get scratched when loading. Its really easy to clean to, just wipes off.

Cheers - could I ask the part number as they just quoted me £116.46 for part 51472450513 all weather mats. Perhaps prices have gone up like with everything else.

Quick question about your boot liner, is there anything to protect the interior hatch lid trim? Also, is your's black or grey colour ?

Nothing covers the rear hatch lid, just the boot sides, rear of seats. Its quilted black. Plus it has a bumper flap that comes in handy.

No they don’t, but are very well fitted and don’t move at all.
