Blackberry Bold vs. Storm?

I can't make up my mind which one i want more. Any feedback from owners? I really wanted the storm until I found out the dimensions and weight. It seems kind of large and heavy but then again the Bold isn't that much lighter.

this topic has been discussed before.

but at any rate, i have a bold, love it. the physical keyboard is absolutely indispensable to me. touch screen keyboard is the reason i HATED the iphone so much. if you prefer a keyboard, the bold is for you. if you like a touch screen toy, then the storm is for you.

also, you need to consider the networks in your area. here in dallas, verizon blows goats. at&t has a much better network here. i don't know how it is in CT, but research before you buy.

Ya sorry for the repost. I just realized there is another thread on this topic. Right now I'm on ATT and I have a BB Pearl. While I love the size of the Pearl, the internet is painfully slow. I am considering getting the Curve as the size is not too big but I'm concerned with the Bold size. Did you have a curve before your Bold? If so, is it noticably bigger? Thanks

yes, i had a curve before this. the size is not much bigger than the curve and i never really notice it. comparing the bold to the pearl/curve is like comparing shit to diamonds. the bold is a completely different and a much improved phone. the internet on the pearl/curve IS painfully slow, but the bold is the solution, especially when you're in a fixed location with wifi. my 3G reception is great and the 3G speeds are actually pretty fast. go to an at&t store and try one out, i bet you'll want it right there and then.

I opted for a Blackjack II as it's also on the 3G network w full keyboard but is smaller/lighter than the BB. Only thing is it runs off Windows Mobile 7 instread of the BB software.

If you want Bold but smaller, wait some time, another one just like bold (but 3MP camera) is around the corner...
THe name is Ja****n...

Storm looks great, has a nice click touch screen (much better than the capacitive one), but no WiFi...

I have an 8830 and have played w/ the Storm. Has the same feeling when you are typing, the click w/ the surepress.

Best of both worlds.
