Luckily I was able to walk away unharmed. You could barely notice the scratch on my car, so after a firm handshake I waved the Spanish lorry driver off on his way...

Re: The lorry vid - terrifying - so many people have been killed or seriously injured that way and one of the reasons why I now check the number plate of the truck I'm about to pass, to see if it's a foreigner. If it is then I don't hang about cabside any longer than needed.

Anyone see the prog that Quentin Wilson made about it?

Re: Nicole - remember the adverts - I think most guys attention was 99.999% on her, 0.001% on the Clio. As Lord Flasheart (Blackadder) would say, 'Is that a canoe in my pocket, or am I just pleased to see you. WOOF' !!

This really gets to me...

this is my GF first car after a similar incident 3 years ago this christmas

Had anyone been sitting in the rear left seat they would have died.

Wash rush hour on the M11, and she ended up in the middle of the two lanes facing the wrong way, obviously the poor thing stalled during the maylee and all the dash lights lit up. She thought it was going to burst into flames and she couldnt open the doors as they were wedged shut.. She was terrified.

Bloody LORRY DRIVERS...

Oh dear, the irony here is that roles have been reversed. Normally, it would be Carlos that would post such a thing and this time it's the usually level headed Dave C........ Dave - you are a bloke then.

I think she's very pretty but not a figure with 'curves in all the right places'? You know the evolutionary sub-conscious thought process of 'child bearing' material. Yeah I know........too deep. Back to tossing it off boys.

Back on topic Yes, the lorry driver was a careless tosser but why was he put in the position of having to overtake a car in the inside lane on a motorway that was in effect causing an obstruction by going too slow. Are not all lorries governed to 56 mph?

Having worked with HGV drivers I can understand their frustration at other drivers on the road sometimes.

However, the video shows the lorry in a lane with a continous white lane on its right so regardless of speed should he be overtaking?

Unless of course it was a lady trucker then that would explain all.
