Search online, and this forum...there is tons of info you can find.
From my experience....on my car....the V5 stage 2+ E40 map is the most powerful if you want to run an ethanol mix tune. The V7 maps have lots of low end grunt on their 93 tunes. The V9 maps don't have as much low end power, put pull just a little better at the upper rpms. I really liked th V7 tunes. Never tried any of the V8 tunes since lots of people had buggy issues with them. It really just depends on what you (and your car/combo) like. I liked th V7 tunes best....and V5 for the E40 tunes. But try them all....run some logs, use Virtual Dyno to see what works best in your car. |

I second that on the V7.1 map. Diesel-like punch in the low end like what our stock twins were meant to do. I rarely need to shift beyond 4500rpm. Perfect for DD and immediate overtaking. In comparison v9 feels very lethargic down low where it has a strange throttle response as if the boost was artificially suppressed for a few moments before it built up. Butt dyno says V7.1 felt close to a supercharged Audi S5 with a Revo Stage 1.
My setup: Totally stock, running a base Stage 1 91oct map with 93oct fuel as insurance in this 30c+ weather. |

If your referring to map versions, then there's best for low down to mid range punch is v7.1 as stated, would recommend v7.1 myself. V9 runs fine too with a bit more progressive boost and top end. |
