Production pushed back?
Anyone seeing this? My neighbor is building an x3. Was in 112 for September and just got pushed to November.
Our CA said that it's happened to all his x3 builds all of a sudden. Anyone know anything? |

Yea. I remember seeing the thread but couldn't find it. Do you have the link by chance? We tried to narrow down that it's a specific part on back order but couldn't come to a conclusion.

I was able to later confirm that my vehicle went from status 112 to 111 after the delay was communicated. My dealership could not tell me much other than all their X3s were delayed, but another dealership said the delay was related to a shortage of shadowline trim and certain wheel options. I was never able to confirm if this was correct or not. I have seen numerous others here order similar specifications and theirs were built or in production for later this month. It’s hard to say what is really causing the delay. I halfway wonder if it is the trailer hitch I specified, but I am really guessing at this point outside of what the second dealer stated regarding trim.
