X5 45e - How to Rev the ICE While Staying in Place?
OK, simple question that I hope has a simple answer. How do I rev my ICE while just sitting in my driveway?

That's a simple answer but it doesn't accomplish what I'm asking how to do. I want to sit at idle and rev my gas engine. Everything I've tried (SPORT, M/S)stops the engine as soon as I put it in Park. The ICE definitely doesn't start just by switching into SPORT unless the car's in D or R.

Try this:
It’s possible if you push hard brake and hold then do a slow kick down when in sport and directly after park to start ICE. Also, you need to have done some ICE driving before so It is warm. |

Not sure about the pure ICEs with ASS but for 45e like others said. Engage driveready (in park), select sport, hold the break and push accellerator and it starts. Only idles though. Touching break or acc. Stops the ICE.... But if you follow the same procedure with the driverside door open then you can rev it. Close the door and leave it and it runs. Great for those days with empty battery and - 20C outside
