Like the way you list the 'M' before the missus. Does she know who comes first in your priorities?

We stayed on the clifftops in a village called Downderry (between Plymouth and St Austell). It was magic waking up to sea views everyday

We did a coastal walk from Looe to Polperro; visited Golitha Falls and Carnglaze Caverns; and walked to the cheesering rocks near Minions.

The trip was 600 miles in all so it was good to give the M a good run

Nice pics and good weather. I have done that walk but we stayed in Talland Bay so it was from there to Polperro.

Nope, she claims she's a forum widow. I converse more on here than with her. She also knows the car gets more time and attention

I love Cornwall and spent many happy holidays there as a child. Considering going back this coming Easter, perhaps to Polperro or maybe down near St Just/Lands End, as it's so magical in that part of the word.

Can't beat a bit of 'cottage'-ing for your hols

Hope you didn't clip any hedges. My car still bears the marks from our last trip (although much less visible now after machine polishing).

jj - yes we popped into Richard & Judy's for a chat...

Hoops - it was very quiet as its out of season. It was actually really nice feeling like we had the whole place to ourselves. Just what we needed, to get away from the rat race for a few days. However, I think I upset a few of the locals by opening up the V8 down the country lanes. A few old ladies had to dive for cover!

Great pics, funny enough I'm planning a similar trip this coming weekend.

Got the week booked off to do some DIY, but thought we'd go away for a few days in Cornwall before getting stuck in. Maybe this time next week, I'll have some similar pictures (but with a D instead of a M).

Cornwall is great out of season, i prefer it. i try and got twice a year just for a couple of days to get away from everything with my girlfriend.

There is a brilliant road from Penzance to land's end (not sure what its called) and they are always empty!

Wink Nice shots

Glad you had a good couple of days, Paul.

I thought I'd touch up one of your shots slightly:
