Sitting on 2019-3. Supposed to get auto updates. Anyway to force this to occur? Looked into just manually downloading and installing with usb but this seems to have been discontinued with the new updates OTA.

Thanks Mods (not). I placed this post in the main thread for a reason. Looking for an actual reply from a more trafficked area hence why my first Post about this is already in the "electronic" section with no replies.

So let me see if I can help. OTA map updates, there is not a way to force it. You can call bmw genius support and sometimes they can do troubleshooting or u can use use one of the coding websites and download new updates to USB and update the maps.

Also if I set up your bmw owners account make sure correct map region is selected as that might trigger an update as well.

My account has been set up since my X5 years ago. Went through that thing multiple times. Didn't see anything like that or even how to manually download like you used to be able to. Don't wanna pay one of these companies to download maps I'm supposed to get automatically based on my subscription lol.

I'll try calling the "genius" thing.
