How to add a sub to the harman kardon?

Hi

I replaced my HK with bavsound speakers, they sound amazing. I couldnt find an amp upgrade too bad cuz it would sound even better.

Any tips or tricks to add a subwoofer to the car? Is it possible to relay a 2nd amp after the harman kardon amp?

Thanks

I see someone even put an amp for the speakers.

My question is more like, is there an RCA out off the H&K amp, just need to know how to plug and if doable.. i guess it is doable just dunno how..

Shop prolly knows

I have b&w and added a jl 12" w6 with its own dedicated amp.

I think the sub feed is taken from one of the underneath subs

No RCA out. You must use a hi-level converter to intercept the speaker signal and reduce it to line level.

I have b&w also running a JL audio 12" w6 in a HO box. The front end has been changed from B&W too. They used a bit dmi or a Zen integration module can be used. Or as above take a feed from the speakers & use a loc to run rcas into your amp (won't sound as good imo).

I am in the process now of adding a sub in my 19 M5 with Harmon Kardon audio systems. Planning on running a JL Audio 12W7E in a Pro Wedge Box that will sit in the trunk and I will run a remote audio knob near the driver seat for bass gain. Technicpnp make a connector cable that is plug-n-play and gives you the Sub wires out that can plug in a LC2 Line output converter. Adding a JL Audio RD 1000/1 behind the driver side panel above the factory HK amp it will be all hidden and look pretty. Can add some pictures once it's all completed.
