Suggestions for a front / rear dash cam?

I'm having my M5C arrive soon so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions / experience or feedback on front / rear dash cams...not necessarily just to record drives, but also for security in case someone swipes it at a parking lot, parking garage, etc? I've been look on Amazon and there are hundreds of them that have both front and rear options or combinations, but just wanted to see if there is any "real world" experience or feedback. Thanks!

I would suggest going for either BlackVue or Thinkwave brand of cameras.

I have BlackVue DR950 dual cam + a BR-750 battery from BalckBoxMyCar. Very happy with this setup. Battery gives me about 40 hours of parking mode.

Was looking this up myself but found out 2021 M5s have built-in front/rear/side cams that can automatically record 20secs before + after detecting a collision/bump or by pushing the record button

I have blackvue cameras in my cars.

Make sure you get a battery for parked car recording. Both times my dash cam saved me were while the car was parked. Burglary and hit and run driver.
