2022 m5 order and pricing.

Looking to order a 2022 m5 comp, fully loaded msrp of 148k trying to get the best deal I can on both the car and the platinum 125k mile warranty from BMW. Current deal I have is 5.5k off msrp and 7k for warranty, trying to see if there's any dealers that can beat that if anyone has recommendations. Looking to place order ASAP.

With a spec that high, any reason you haven't considered the M5 CS?

My spec is that much, actually a bit more due to individual paint... IF I can ever get it ordered with the accessories that somehow no longer exist. Not sure how you're able to order. I'm assuming you're buying and not leasing like I am trying and just going to have dealer put the backordered carbon fiber bits and MPE at the dealership? But anyway, the CS is intended as "track car," but to me it's a gimmick. You lose a lot by choosing it over a fully-optioned Competition if you don't plan on tracking it. Green or grey with bronze wheels? Yea, no thanks. BMW didn't even take it seriously... why should I?

I have a loaded 22' Individual M5C about to go into production and decided I will just buy the CF parts I need and have my Indy install them; I will sell them when I return the car.

Not going to wait on BMW to figure it out .....

In my case it's minimal as most of my CF M parts will simply transfer from my current 19' M5C over to the new car as will my exhaust.

I started conversations with my CA on a '22 M5C to replace my leased '19 M5C that is coming due in a few months. I'm at a similar spot as you, $5,000 off MSRP (which equates to $3,000 over invoice).

I'm really jones'ing to have another M5. I sold my 2019 due to my now ex-girlfriend just giving me no end of grief over it. That being said, I am now edging towards the same mindset of getting what I can and adding the rest myself. The local dealer sucks from a sales perspective, but their service department is great. However, I am unfortunately not in the same situation of being able to transfer exhaust... but I have been increasingly considering the Akra, especially considering you can truly close the valves. However, can you swap an exhaust on a lease without BMW Financial balking? My gut says no, but how would they find out? Plus there's the whole thing of buying a $7k exhaust for a lease. However, the plan is to buy it out at the end, especially considering it'll be one of the last ICE's.

In my case, I'm just transferring the aftermarket exhaust to the new car and putting the OEM back on the 19' I'll be returning. No issue with BMW FS.

If I part out the next car I will sell the exhaust; you can usually recover a decent portion of the cost.

Akra's great .. had it on my 15' F10 M5.

It seems I can't yet PM anyone, not sure if I'm allowed to share my email or not. Issue with the 5k off is its through a broker and I don't feel quite comfortable not going directly through a dealership. I'm doing PC delivery so I don't care where I have to fly out to sign paperwork. Also trying to find a dealership that's not going to charge 10-13k for a warranty I know is 6-7k and have gotten quotes for 7k a few times in the past for.

Since you're also in NJ do you mind helping a fellow bmw owner out? I've just about called every dealership in NJ and can't find anyone willing to budge on msrp or give me a warranty under 10k....

For me it's the color and the fact that I'm stuck with those bucket seats that I don't quite fit in haha.... plus I loose massaging seats... honestly if the m8 had massaging seats I'd have gotten that just for the heated armrests lol.

You need to have the manager order the CF bits on the backend, I have all the option codes if you want to give it to them

Just an FYI, You don't have to buy the warranty from the same dealership that you get the car from. Also, I don't think you even have to buy it at the same time.

Every dealer is different in every state, for some states you can't do mail ins anymore because of fraud.

Yeah but I'd rather just get both done honestly, like if I have to ill get the warranty from somewhere else but even then where do I start lol... I guess first things first is find a car that's a few k off msrp. Everyone around here and surrounding states is sticking to ou we are selling over sticker blah blah but we can do msrp for you.

nerdogray I'm planning on parting with my Akra exhaust sometime in the Oct/Nov timeframe if you're still interested. It's been amazing, but moving to another vehicle soon so I'll have to say goodbye for now.

It may work out, but right now, an alignment on the celestial level seems to be needed. No accessories, no discounts, etc. I'm just waiting, chomping at this bit. Discounts are the big one. I don't know what it is. Financially, I would be alright without any, but I just have this number in my head for a monthly payment and can't get past it. I guess I am cheap... and cheapness isn't compatible with M5's... or ex-girlfriends.

I'm like you, I am also cheap, but never about my passion: M5's. YOLO- You Only Live Once.

You can get accessories, just gotta have the right dealer or if not have them talk to the manager and they have a list of all the port installed accesories. Currently only thing missing is carbon kidney grilles. Just out of curiosity what monthly were you thinking of and what down payment? Like how much of a discount are you trying to get?

Keep in mind I'm trying to lease, but I'd love to see around $1600, but $1700-$1800 is fine. This is within the 5% to 10% area of discounts, with the lower being far more realistic at this time... but not yet within reach.

My local dealer entered an order into the system for
me last week for an M5C. He said I’m 2nd on the list for the next allocations. I’m going in tomorrow to meet with him and discuss the car. I assume he’s going to want to talk price. I’m gonna shoot for 8% off and hopefully land in the 6% range. This is for a purchase btw, not a lease. Has anyone made a deal on one of these lately?
