Afternoon all! I've just joined the forum so wanted to say Hi!

I've just placed an order yesterday with my local bmw dealer for a factory build M340i in the following spec:

Mineral grey
Upgraded m sport front seats in black leather with blue stitching
Shadow line plus
Vision pack
Technology plus pack
Comfort plus pack
M carbon pack (carbon roof and interior trim)
M technology pack

Just waiting on a delivery date confirming from Germany. For anyone that's ordered recently what's the wait like?

My MG M340i landed in Southampton this week and expected in dealers Friday, I lost a load of time as I originally spec'd marino leather so that delayed things, still can't get it so went for M-sport seats in Conag.
There have been some issues with some parts, read the order update thread for more info.
Just keep an eye on your build until its locked incase something you've specified causes a delay, once locked its about a week build and 2 weeks delivery.

Thanks. Looking at the spec sheet from the dealer, the only thing that's been removed is the wireless charging. Originally I didn't spec the m sport seats and the standard sport seats had the passenger lumbar support and width adjustment removed. I guess the m sport seats don't have this feature as the new spec sheet doesn't state anything has been removed

M-sport seats do have passenger lumbar support, standard seats have it removed.
Mine doesn't have wireless charging either but I'm not fussed as I have a robust iPhone case and its too think for the wireless chargers I have at home so wouldn't work anyway.

I toyed with the idea of going with the merino leather but decided against it as I thought it would mark/scratch easier. The M440i I took out on test drive had the M sport seats with the vernasca leather and they were really nice and comfortable.

I have a pretty thick case on my iPhone too. I have no issues with using a usb cable to charge it anyway.

When did you place your order if you've recently picked the car up? On the dealer spec sheet the estimated delivery date is 30/09/21 so not too bad if it's anywhere near accurate.

Is that the only option you were missing. I'm seeing lots of people saying they can't get HK sound system. On my spec sheet from the dealer it's showing it will come with it 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Still have HK sound which I believe are still being supplied to M340i/d models. I have the boot comfort access too which was discussed as being a possible omission. So only lost wireless charging.

Spec Sounds great. Similar spec to mine, but mine is in mineral white with shadow line.
You will love those m sport seats by the way. I have wireless and do use it, but it's certainly not a deal breaker. Lack of HK would have been...
The wait will be torture.

Yeah lack of HK would be a deal breaker for me too. I can live without wireless charging.

I'm hoping the dealer gets back to me on Monday and gives me an estimated delivery date from the factory. I'm like a kid at Christmas haha can't wait for it to be ready

Just general pics. I wasn't sure if you had the carbon pack tbh.

It looks really good in the white with the shadow line pack! Love the seats!

Does anybody know if the m technology pack increases the size of the brakes or just improves the cooling for them? On the configurator it states

The M Technology Pack offers an increased heat capacity of the braking system as well as the cooling system and guarantees a long-lasting high performance under extreme driving conditions. It includes upgrades for the drive train cooling system and M Sport brakes

It will be interesting to hear your delivery date. Im toying with getting a M340i via a dealer, I've been told early next year for delivery.

Welcome! Your choice of Mineral Grey is going to look fab with the 40i. I enjoyed it on my previous 30i with the shadowline trim (which MG really complements and amplifies). Hope your delivery date sticks and you're in the car enjoying that melodious B58 soon.

Blimey, that is quick, especially in light of all the shortages, popularity/demand on 3 series orders, and ongoing backlog at the Germany factory (so I hear): good though, since you'll have some summer left to enjoy those bends before the roads get too slick again this autumn!

Have they confirmed Harman Kardon availability on Tech + for your car? Assume they have dropped enhanced B/T, hotspot and wireless charging now?!

I have been told no harman kardon as a stand alone. If you want it then you will need to get the tech pack

Very nice. If I had the choice I would have gone for a mg m340i but am now actually glad I ended up with a Mineral white one.
Wireless pad is a bit rubbish and makes the phone too hot anyway so not too worry.
