New BMW, Bavsound Upgrade

I'm looking at a new 2021 BMW, maybe a 430i or the X4, but not a lot of options with the Harmon Kardon system. If I settled for the stock stereo system, would the dealer be the best place to install a Bavsound upgrade or would it be better to find a local independent stereo store? I'm in Southern CA, so if anyone knows of a 3rd party option in the area, please chime in. Thanks!

Dealer won't install any aftermarket equipment.

Most audio retailers can handle this install. Check around local shops once you make the purchase.

I have the Rev pro, it has an issue with a "tune card" Im not getting sound from the rear speakers. Customers are complaining about it. $1000 down the drain.

I had the original Revenant in my F33. Easy to install and did wonders. I could hear my music with the top down on the freeway.

Depends on the dealership - we've had a number of BMW and MINI dealerships that will install our products. Ask the service department. Dealers can be a great option - the vast majority of the work is removing/replacing interior trim and components. Easier to find a competent dealership than aftermarket audio shop.
