Trade-in Questions

Anyone here traded-in the E92 335i for E92 M3?

I am thinking trade-in my 2008 335 coupe for the 2008 M3 due to the low interest rate and factory rebate. Do you guys think this is a "not wise" idea?

The other problem is my car is finance through BMW, will they allow me to switch for another car? I got my car in February this year.

Please advise.

Well i slapped my 07' 335 on leasebusters and it took about 3 weeks to get rid of it...
Got myself a E93 M3 and couldn't be happier. Minus the Fuel consumption
Got a phenomenal deal on a 39 month lease...

You'll take a hit, I am trading in my 08 335xi.

You lose $10k or more on your car.

I am sure the finance this is not an issue but you will prob need to pay out of pocket to close that out too.

E90 or E92 M3? How many are left? I'm picking up my '08 E90 M3 tomorrow. As far as I am aware, there were only a handful left in Canada as of Saturday morning.

So, does it mean I have to pay the balance that I owned BMW Canada first based on the Finance contract, then I have to accept the dealership whatever they offer me for the trade-in?

Good question, I would call and ask since BMWCA can prob do what they want if they wanna sell you another car.

If this was through a third party bank then yes but if it is through BMW finance they might make a deal for you.

Either way it isn't gonna be a great deal.

I got an 08 since this will prob be my only chance, mnext year I am sure the deals will be gone as our dollar has

I may go to the dealership this afternoon and see what they can do.

Since, I am financing my car, if I am getting the 08 M3, I hope the payment will not raise too much. I got my car 3.9% finance at that time.

I went to the dealership this afternoon, they have a few coupes left in their lot; however, they don't have the color or the combination that I want. My CA has a meeting today and she will find out how much that I have pay for each month.

The interset rate is 2.4% if I buy from them, I am thinking should I call around and see who has the best deal. The rebate is around $3600.

I am looking for a white or black one with fox red interior and without the sunroof.

Hope my trade-in is high and have almost the same monthly payment that I am paying.

Last I heard coupe rebate was $5000 so maybe check on that.

Can your dealership bring in cars from elsewhere? Have your CA look on REX (BWM inventory system for Canda) and see if they can find the right car for you.

Where are you?

I am in GTA, Ontario. I double checked the rebate, the coupe only gets around $3600 (less than that, can't remember). The CA told me that their dealership is not going to do the allocation search because they want to get rid of their stock M3.

I am waiting my CA to give me a call and see how much that I am going to pay for each month. If I have to pay $500 more per month, so I am not going for a new 2008 M3.

My CA called me tonite and have 2 M3 available:

1. Black with red interior Demo with 9000 km with MDrive package and Executive package, no dampening control option $1589 (tax-in) for 60 months.

2. New 08 M3 Granite with black interior with only executive package and without dampening control $1641.25 (tax-in) plus $5000 deposit for 60 months.

Do you guys think it is too expensive? The trade in for my 2008 335 coupe only 9 months old worth only $40,000.

Yeah, that is a horrible hit.

I'd walk away. That is a bad deal. Sell your car privately.

You should get $10k more for your car.
