There are a number of us on this forum that have either taken delivery of a G20 or G21 or are expecting delivery of one in the not too distant future so was wondering what kind of reaction there would be to meet up for a brew and a chat?

The membership is of course spread out across the country so it will be impossible to please everyone but there appears to be a cluster of us in the South of England so I was thinking of a meeting point somewhere along the M4 corridor sometime in September. Those that are awaiting delivery should have received their cars by this time plus the majority will have had at least one Covid jab.

I appreciate that this sort of thing is not everyones cup of tea but interested to hear your comments as to whether you think this is a good or bad idea and if you'd be interested in coming along if something can be organised?

Yes, it’s a good idea. I remember attending meets many years ago. Always fun.

I’m in the Midlands so can’t attend your southern meet, but maybe we can arrange one for Midlands folk at some point.

I'm South West'ish - Swindon. Plenty of nice country pubs to meet at just off the corridor.

North East, Scottish Borders, Durham, Yorkshire ? ........ Any of those areas?

I am already looking at bus routes from down south. My car is still in the paint shop having been there for well over a month now. I suspect it is sitting somewhere waiting for all relevant parts to be collected prior to assembly. At least my delivery date of wef 28 June hasn't changed - yet!

Or maybe somewhere in the Wear Valley? Anywhere between Derwent reservoir west across towards Alston. Some great driving roads over that way!

There appears to be some interest in both a North and South meet up!

Will let this thread run for a bit to gauge how many are likely to come along and then start to formulate a plan as to when and where
