'Woke' word

In Idrive7 it says you can change Hi BMW to a different word by logging in to your account. I couldn't find out how after I logged in. Where can you change it?

You ID7 guys :-/

I love toys - so jealous. However, at the end of the day WHEN will voice recognition be truly working. Alex constantly amazes me at her playfulness when responding to my requests - I'm sure she does it just to toy with me - "Alexa bedroom lights on" 90% of the time all spots and strip lights come on, 10% of the other time she randomly chooses to omit a light or two. There is someone, somewhere who I swear want's to see me cuss.

You can also just say "hey bmw, change the activation word" and it will take you through to the menu to change it.

Correct iD7 term is preset "wake" word or "personal wake word", not the social political term that would derail your thread:

Personally I'm totes against it. I mean FFS I tried in Selfridges to buy some Aunt Jemima pancake mix (positively the best) only to be told they don't sell it any more due to their current policy and the issues in the press. I had to look it up. The world has gone totes wrong imho, now I'm gonna have to use bisquik :-/

Hey - but I'm still jealous of ID7 - only another 18months to a new car ... only to then start thinking about when the real next version will come out (any projections for that btw?)

Hi!
Yesterday I found out that something happened with voice activation of assistant... I cannot activate assistance by saying "Hey BMW" or "Hallo BMW"... I tried to switch on and off these settings, but nothing changes. By presing button on stirring wheel I can talk to my BMW, but it doesn't activate by voice command...

Does anyone have experience such a problem? What would be possible solutions? Any advices? I have x3 2020 with idrive 7 .

I tried this and it didn't work for me. What I had to do was configure me in the profile's section under CAR. I was just Guest. Once I did that I had to log in and sync my online BMW account with the X3. Then I was able to do it.
