Are all X3's manufactured in Spartanburg? what about Dingolfing?
I've an X3 M40i on order, and the VIN has the letter G as the factory identifier, which seems to signify Dingolfing as the plant.
But I was under the impression that all the X3's were made in South Carolina? Im based in the UK if that makes any difference. |

Nothing here about Dingolfing. Likely South Carolina. Does Dingolfing make local market-installed modifications (safety equipment, floor mats, etc.)?

Drop your VIN # into a decoder. Maybe you'll get more build info. I had the impression Spartanburg & South Africa were the only build locations for X3. I know X1's are built in Germany (wife's car)

The G01 X3s in Australia (RHD) were initially from US, but after approx 2020 I think they've been coming from South Africa. Perhaps similar in UK and other RHD markets?
