I was just wondering, is the engine in the 2017 bmw x1 xdrive m sport, the same engine that is in the 2017 bmw 530i xdrive m sport???

I believe it's a B48 engine series you're thinking of. They both appear in the F48 (X1) and G30 (530i), but the variant in the X1 is the 170 Kw version, whereas the 5 series has the 185 Kw version.
