This Cannot fit

Does this mean my wiper blades are not oem thats why the oem cap cant fit over it? These blades do look different than my 328i.

Those blades in the pic are not BMW EO, which is why you new caps are not going to fit over them. BMW uses the Bosch ICON blade system but with a different connection (i.e. steel pin on the wiper arm). To get the cap to fit you need to use the BMW OE blades. I do not think there is an exact fit aftermarket version, not even from Bosch.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

I picked up a set of Michelin blades from Costco that fit perfectly fine on my 330i, and I have the covers exactly like the one in the first post which snap on securely. I went to pick up another set of wiper blades and while they're still Michelin blades sold at Costco, they changed the design completely and don't list E90s at all in the application guide. I bought them anyway and could not install them on my car at all since they didn't include a suitable adapter, so I had to return them.

Because some people can't always plan ahead for the parts they need and might need them immediately.

I think Valeo uses the same system, but they are an OEM supplier.

Mine are the same way, the next set will be ordered online from FCP or ECS rather than Autozone or O'Reilly's. Some things are best bought OE or you take your chances.

So BMW changed the wiper cover design?

When I got my 335 it had a cover on the drivers arm, but not the passenger. I bought new wiper blades, bosch icon, and got another cover from my local BMW dealership. I replaced the drivers side wiper and cover, it was all good. Then, onto the passenger side, I grab the new wiper cover from BMW and it doesn't fit.

I popped the one from the drivers side and its a different mold....
