LCI 328i sedan- attempting retrofit of pre LCI sport power seats
Hello all!
I'm currently working on installing a pair of 2007 335i sport heated memory lumbar leather sport seats in my roommates 2011 328i sedan with manual standard vinyl seats. I cut all the chassis side wiring from the 335, wired up the four large power wires to a 30A fuse and to the batt. passenger seat works fine. receptacles interchange, seat bag plug is the same, moves and all is well. Drivers seat though, no movement. lumbar works great, but no movement. good power at both the large red(white) and red(brown) wires. pins look good on the seat module and I have voltage all the way up. I hooked CAN wires up to the car as well behind radio as a last ditch as someone mentioned the module wouldn't wake without it. no change. is this a lost cause or does anyone have any ideas? pulled them back out for now and tossed in the manual seats. would love to take another stab but at a total loss
