So my car is as registered on 30 March 2018 but brake fluid is due this month. Ideally I want to change the brake fluid at the same time as end of warranty check and first MOT which means I potentially will be one month late. It's not an issue in itself for me as I don't think one month over the brake fluid will be an issue but one thing that I just wouldn't be able to stand is if I drive record for brake fluid would be red as if late that would just stress me out to the max. Does anyone know if service red and amber status only applies to oil service or would brake fluid change is also affected?

I'm sorry I just can't see past your fluctuation between the correct use of "brake" and incorrect use of "break" throughout your post!

Brake fluid service will go red.
Mine was done "late" due to Covid.

Why do you need to ideally do this - doesn't matter surely?

It will go red until you clear it.

My understanding is you can be up to 30 days/1000 miles late and should be green.

My car had a brake fluid change done 7 months late (previous owner) and is displayed in yellow.

Some info in this post.

I'm in the same situation, car registered Mar '18 but brake fluid is based on car build not registration hence Feb for me.

Mine is showing yellow and 3,000 or Feb '21 until for the brake fluid service, spoke to BMW and and all booked in for the end March for brake fluid, MOT & end of warranty check, no issues with going past Feb '21 and was told there is a 1,000 mile grace period for the brake fluid so i'm not worried
