US New seats in 2022?

According to a FB Group the 22 X5 gets also the M Sport Sests as we see on some European versions?

Anyone more details?

That'd be awesome. I love those seats, but as is the case with other stuff, BMW hasn't offered them for USA

Would love it if that option made it to our shores.

I was planning to hold onto the M50i for a bit longer than usual, but I could make the move in 2022 if those seats were available

How do these seats compare to the multi-contour seats in terms of comfort?

I don't think they're offered in the US because the EU ones are heavily bolstered and would actually hurt us fat Americans lol.

Its ok as an option. But i still prefer multifunction seats . M seats have super stiff headrest. Thigh support can be annoying exiting. Plus they are bulky and take away visibility and space for rear passengers with huge black backs on any color

So they're putting the X5M seats in as part of the M-Sport package?

That's definitely the con for optioning M Multifunction seats - for this complaining of not enough rear / 2nd row leg room - these will definitely reduce that length.

That's the TLDR; more like an additional upgrade:

- Standard Sport seat
- Multi-Contour or Multi-Contour with vent/massage
- M Multifunction

without the X5 ///M or X6 ///M illuminated badging of course, with just the black ///M badge.

Threw in a cognac Vernasca M Multi-function 💺 for better view

Appear to be the same to me just without the illuminated badge (which I prefer. less light or ///M badging the better.) This kind of option is blurring the lines more between M50i and X5M.

Interesting picture - must have been press car. See the Silverstone interior of x5 M with White backs.
It is only available if you order individual White/Blue leather.
In Silverstone - which is off white/black - the backs are still black. So is taruma, brown, red or Adeline grey interior.

I can definitely say the M seats from circa 2018 are NOT nearly as comfortable as what I had come to expect from BMW multi-contours. They have a lot of side bolstering and are probably good for track day, but they suck for a 10 hour car ride.

On the F85 some came from the factory with white backs and some with black backs. Some people swapped them out for the black. If you're going to have kids back there then the black is the bet. IMO.
