I use all of our SUV on and offroad and when equipped with proper tires they function well and "just fine" in some conditions but the wide rear tires do not do it any favors. A 9.5" width would be ideal but then you diminish stability on road at speed. In the same vein I would not be confident with this vehicle on a "Seasonal Road" that is not maintained unless equipped with chains or at a minimum studded tires.

It also shows the partial automatic cleaning function of the part under the doors. And where to push when the charging door is not opening when pushed on the normal unlocking spot.

My X7 has properly be sitting clean in the garage all winter. They way it should be used is the way the owner intends to use it.
On the other hand my Jeep looks like it’s been following a salt truck for the last two months. Last edited by BMWBear; 02-14-2021 at 08:13 PM.. |

Just moved from Los Angeles to Seattle 2 days ago...and this is my welcome.
I'm kinda loving it. And that for the first time in 69 cars, resigning myself to the fact it will never be pristine like all before it. Thank goodness its a lease! PS - GLAD i did not opt for the air suspension. lol

That's packed in there. I do love the heated garage for that.

Snow-packed rims are a regular occurrence for us. We typically get 100” snow each winter, and the first/last couple miles near home aren’t plowed immediately. What’s annoying is when warm brake calipers melt the snow unevenly, which imbalances the wheel.
Now, with the garage heated, those out-of-balance wheels magically fix themselves overnight. |

Snow really makes carbon black and bicolor 740M rims pop out.
Side note — all season tires really cannot handle snow well. Need dedicated winter tires for traction on snow/ice. All season performs OK on dry winter road tho.
