in some countries they put the M badge at factory --- for Mtech cars. dunno if that's the case here though, don't think so... but guys, if BMW thinks its ok do that, why so much hate? I wouldn't do it either, but I think BMW okeys this for its cars, hence... let it go. After it's on the door sills, the rims, you name it.

It's a California plate... and yeah the E93 has a brake-light there...
