Hey everyone, so i was by my car and i forgot my keys at home so I unlocked it with the bmw connected app and then locked it with the bmw connected app as well. After locking it with the bmw connected app the car locked but the dashboard was still lit and the ambient lighting was lit as well. I waited a good amount of minutes and they wouldn't turn off. Had to go back into the house to grab the keys then unlocked and locked the vehicle again then everything turned off. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Haven't tried that series of steps yet. But based on your experience I will.

The app locks the doors, but doesn’t set the alarm or ‘shut the car off’ like locking it from the fob. My guess is if you waited the 10 or 15 minutes it takes for the car to shut off on its own, you would see everything turn off.
