AW E92 335i DKG (probably one of the first)

Finally received my car;

E92 Alpine white / m-sportpackage / 199 style black wheels and some other stuff. Last but the best option DKG

This gear box rocks (if you can still call it a box)

Any one who want to buy an E92 335i wait and get the DKG.

Here some pictures;

I'll take picture later today (7:10 am now) of the interior.

But promise me not to drool on the interior.

BTW, the DKG shifter is identical to the sportlever in the 635d etc

So its the same shift knob as the 6, but the same trans as the M3?

Or is this a slowed down version, like the non-M SMG in the E46?

The shift knob is indeed the same.

From driving I beleive it is almost identical to the M3. The only difference you can see on the steeringwheel are the different peddles. M3 has one side - otherside +. This one is like the traditional ones, push is - pull is +.

I've been told (so don't shoot me if it's not) that the mechanical part is almost identical. The difference seems to be more in the link with the M-drive.

The shifting goes unbelievably smooth, I don't beleive any human can shift with a manual gearbox so quick nor so smooth. You hardly feel the car shifting, it just keeps pushing you in the seat.

if you can, pllllleeeaaaseee post videos of the DCT in action, i want to see how it compares to the M3. Also, can you chirp the wheels in sport mode between gears like S6 in the M3? Is there a big difference between sport and normal?
