Big screw in FRONT TIRE.NEED ADVICE
Got off from work, notice something noise. Got outside and found a big screw in my 19 inch tire. Went to a tire shop and was told it cannot be repaired as it was in the outer edge of the tire. QUESTION: Do you have to buy 2 pieces of tires to make my steering even or I can still buy only 1? I has exactly 6450 miles on those tires. Need your advice. Thanks |

Depends on how you drove and if you babied your tires. If the other 3 are almost bald or less than half tread, then its better to get all four tires replaced.
And try and get the Same tire dont mix and match them.

You could try a different shop. Some guys can plug some crazy stuff and it works, but if it is outer edge close to the side, you are probably screwed.
