X3 high beam assist

My Auto high beam assist doesn't appear to work correctly. Pretty much stays on a dazzles on coming drivers without dipping. Anyone else have this problem?

UK should have anti-dazzle so hi-beams stay on but just adjust to not blind oncoming driver, I think.

How do you know that your high beams are dazzling oncoming drivers? Are they flashing you? If not, your anti-dazzle high beams are working as they should and you have nothing to worry about. The blue high beam icon in the instrument panel stays on all the time, even when oncoming traffic is passing you and your high beams are "shadowing" the oncoming drivers.

Thanks guys. I had no idea the icon stays on and just adjusts the beam. I've come from a Disco with auto high beam that noticeably dipped when there was on coming traffic. Duh! 🤣

You might want to look to the manual to learn about the features of your car.
