Anyone have experience with the Pirelli P Zero All Season plus?

If you've owned these tires, please share your opinion on them. Thanks.

I have them on the X3 as the "summer" tires. Honestly, they weren't my first choice, but the Michi AS 3+ were out of stock for an indeterminate time, and the best available choice was the Pirelli's.

Quiet, really quick turn-in (staggered 20" sizes) and seem to be wearing evenly. Great in the rain!! Although I prefer Michelin tires over just about any other brand, I'd buy these again even if the Michi AS 3+ were available.

I have no experience using them as most would use an AS tire; my winter set are 19" Nokians.

I had those in my former BMW in a square set-up on 19" wheels. They were quiet and wore evenly. I rotated them every 10kms. And I also used them for the Summer.

I wanted to get the Michelin AS 3+ or the newer Pilot Sport All Season 4, but neither of those comes in the stock sizes for both the front and rear 699M 20" wheels. Sounds like the Pirelli's are a good alternative. Thanks!

Another positive opinion on these tires is making me feel good about getting them, thanks for sharing!

The P Zero AS plus sound like a good option. The Michelins I believe are a little noisy and less comfortable by comparison. The plus side of Michelins being their better ability in snow.

Due to caring for my terminally ill mother-in-law I had to drive on light snow today...with my summer P Zeros. Normally I simply wouldn’t go out on the very rare occasions when it’s cold and snowy. I was surprised how well the X3 coped, no sliding, of course braking needed care. Driving up a steep drive was a cinch. A Cayenne was well and truly stuck, no traction. Could be xDrive is better. P Zero AS plus are top of my list when my summers are worn.

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. She's fortunate to have you caring for her.

This is helpful and is making me think. My car is not coming until February, so if the weather's not too bad in February and March then maybe I can keep the stock summer tires on and at least get one season out of them before switching to the A/S tires next winter.

Thanks though it’s my wife doing the intensive work. I only had 2 hours clearing snow today but there’s something new every day.

My P Zeros are non-RFT on 20s, this I feel helps with their cold weather performance. How your stock tyres work out will depend on what you receive. Surviving a few weeks of cold weather should be viable...but it’s a lottery!

Another good point, thanks. My vehicle will come with hard RFT tires (probably the Bridgestone Alenzas), which probably won't handle the cold as well as your P Zero's. It might be better for me not to take a chance and just mount the new tires right away.

An alternative if you wish All-Seasons would be the Michelin Cross Climate.
