The Making of the Team Lexus Race Car (a picture journal)

I know not many people on here are Lexus-friendly, but I found an interesting site, and I thought I'd post it anyway.

Team Lexus is preparing an IS for the Le Mans race season. They started out with a factory fresh IS350, and they are totally stripping it down, and rebuilding it to be a mean machine.

It would be awesome if 10 years down the line, Team Lexus becomes like an M division, and starts producing road cars of this calibur Too bad, I don't think Lexus corporate will ever get with the program.

Don't despise the Lexus. Toyota knows a thing or 2 about racing.

BTW, those wheels aren't CSL replicas. They are BBS touring magnesium wheels specially designed for touring car racing. Any team can buy them from BBS for $1500 a pop. PTG used the same wheels on their Rolex Series GT cars.
