Yes I need to fix my info thanks. I already added the Black grill. Another nice perk is it came with a 4 1/2 year unlimited mile BMW warranty.

I assume it’s a CPO. The factory warranty is 4 years and 50,000 miles. You have 3.5 years to go. Then the CPO warranty is 1 year, unlimited miles. The CPO warranty is not as comprehensive as the factory warranty.

Yes that's true but since I drive 20K per year I can now drive this 90,000 more miles under warranty with 4.5 year time limit. The Certified is not quite as comprehensive but its very good. I had it on 4 other cars and used it many times for some large repairs and it was never refused. In any case it was a nice addition to the deal.

First of all the car looks great, enjoy!

You need to review your factory warranty to ensure you are clear on the time and mileage limitations of the Warranty Coverage. This information is available in the manual that came with your car. Sounds like the CPO Warranty is for one year and it covers unlimited mileage.

For example, my factory BMW Warranty is four years OR 50,000 miles which ever comes first. Keep in mind the factory warranty clock starts when the car is first registered by the dealer as a demonstrator, or when it was first sold. Another factor is some 2019 cars were available and sold in the Fall of 2018. In this case, the four year Warranty would start in the Fall of 2018 and end four years later in the Fall of 2022.

If the car you bought has 10k miles on it, then you only have 40k miles left of BMW factory Warranty. If you drive 20k miles per year, then in two years your Warranty is done. You will then have one year of CPO Warranty for unlimited mileage. Hope this helps.

This was an executive car. The way I described it is absolutely correct. I also thought it was the way you said but the sales advisor and financial guy both corrected me. We had a long detailed discussion about it because I thought they were wrong. Its also written into the warranty details as I described it. I believe they changed things in the past year or so.
