Nürburgring with The Danes October 2008
Just got back from another trip to The Nürburgring Nordschleife. A 900 km drive here from Copenhagen Denmark.
Here is some pics. The weather wasnt the best and there was a lot of crashes but it was a great trip anyway and my 320si stayed on track And here some other cars wich is worth a look... Prototype Porsche Panamera on test Last edited by Nic320si; 01-28-2009 at 06:34 AM.. |

This means that you have been driving with DTC on? BTW, do you go there often or it was just your one time try?

Not often. A bit too far from Denmark. 2 years between trips. Rent-racecar.de is recommendable Last edited by Nic320si; 04-21-2009 at 04:54 AM.. |

Nice! Although you should definetely drive DTC off! I was there two weeks ago when raining and drove all the laps with the warning signal on.. Only problems were some oily parts of the track, but then again, if you hit them too fast nothing will save your ass.. Yes, my point of view is a bit biased while having the xDrive.. Nonetheless, it should be a good practice to drive with everything off sometimes.

Wow, that F40 is driven well. I give the owner probs for using his 400k ferrari the way it was meant to be.

Did you get to hear the F40 run the track? That car is an absolute inspiration for me.

I have driven it with the DTC off before but this weekend was crazy... Also with everything off the 7.700 rpm si engine is quite something else than a Xdrive diesel.... My general believe is that dtc should always be of when on track as it takes the edge off the driving experience. Not this weekend though as I was planning to keep the Limited Edition model on this earth. |

Supercar owners likes to hang around i the parking area at the Nordschleife and then drive away again without going out. Saw 3 Ferraris on this time and they all went nose to the armco... |

My dream is to take my 07 335i coupe,6mt.w/sport pack,BMS filter,SSTT to the Nurburgring.I would shut off the DTC and definetly leave the DSC on.First i would get rid of the stock rft and put a good set of non rft on.Not race tires, just something like ps2,s or the like which i plan on doing as soon as the stockers wear out.Got a while to go since i only have 7800 miles in the car.
