ConnectedDrive Registration

I’m trying to register my 2008 E91 for ConnectedDrive. It works when I’m in the car via USB, but when I try to add the car to my profile it fails.

It’s a retrofitted CIC system - I’ve tried both mine and the donors VIN.

Any ideas?

I thought this service was discontinued in 2016.
