I currently have an M3CS and my M2CS is at port, My car should be delivered by Dec so I can provide some insight on this at that time. I can tell you that going from the m3 to a CS I noticed a much better turn in and responsiveness of the motor. The CS was stiffer as well. My friend will be doing a YouTube video of my experience in both.
I have also tracked my M3cs multiple times.

Super excited for the M2

Some comparisons have noted the M2 CS has an extra pedal.

I have an M3 CS which I tracked and autocrossed a few times as well. I just think the M3 is too big. December would be around the same time that I'd get my M2 CS too. if the M2CS is just as aggressive and sharp as the M3 CS it would be perfect!!

I drove an M2C extensively, and it was not close to the M3 CS in terms of steering and aggressiveness.
