Concours Finish Detailed: 2008 BMW M3 Space Gray
2008 M3 Space Gray
This is the same owner of the M6 I detailed a few weeks back. Wash Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss P21S Total Auto Wash P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner Meguiars APC + Clay Chemical Guys Gray Clay ONR QD Strength Clay Lube Paint Correction Makita 9227c Orange Pad and Menz SIP White Pad and Menz PO106FF Trim Prima Clarity Glass Cleaner Black Wow 303 Aerospace Protectant Meguiars Hyperdressing Interior 5.5 hp Rigid Shop Vac Prima Nero Prima Nourish Leather Conditioner Prma Clarity 303 Aerospace Protectant LSP Chemical Guys 50/50 Befores Car was never clayed. This was from half of the trunk lid. Overall the car was in good shape with a few light scratches here and there. Trunk Lid Before Trunk Lid After Before After Before After Before After Before After My best attempt at a 50/50. Top side is polished and bottom is not. Afters Owner suggested that we take some shots of both cars together |

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
I used NXT All Metal Polysh. Even new cars need to be detailed and properly sealed. They pick up rail dust through transporting that needs to be clayed and if the dealership washed it on the like...it will most likely already have swirls. |

Very nice work. I'd love to watch you work some time and pick up a few tips. I just used Prima's glass cleaner for the first time this week and it is awesome. No streaks at all.
Yes it is definitely needed based on how most dealers wash cars. I just picked up my E90 M3 2 weeks ago, but it was an 04/08 production. I cringe just thinking about the number of times its been washed by the dealer. After a good clay and polish it's in pretty good shape, but still needs paint correction on a few small scratches I found. |
