35% on the windsheild

but am very afraid of the ticket, i thought it was a fix it ticket just like other tints but when i came home last night with it my brother told me that its a 200$ ticket. is this true? if so im going to take it off RIGHT NOW. haha even tough i love it .. PLEASE if anyone can give me some link or anything as to what the penalty for this is that would be great. and also if you think its a stupid and unsafe idea. please dont comment because it dosnt change my vision at all.

ALSO DROPPING MY CAR THIS FRIDAY! photoshoot to come (much better quality than this crappy camera)

Alex, cars looking good buddy, havent seen it with the new wheels, I honestly think it depends on the cop and if he writes correctible or not..and they probably wont notice it to much..even though you blacked out your car.. you shouldnt trip about it to much, lol keep your sunroof open.

oh nice, the springs are B&G springs i heard tht they are a smoother ride and they drop more than the HR sport but not as much as the race which is what im looking for. www.b-gsuspension.com

Your brother's comments are speculation, but I wouldn't do 35% on the front windshield. It's pretty noticeable. As far as the fine, not sure, but you can find out the hard way or take it off as you seemed to have made up your mind already.

Just ask a CHP officer. They are the ones that usually handle fix it tickets so they would be the most accurate source of info.

Car's looking real classy! I say keep the tint...I've had a car with 35% tint on the windshield and never had a problem.

The ticket's cost depends how the Officer tickets you. If he makes it correctable, it'll cost you $10 plus removal of the tint. If they make it non-correctable then pay the (I think it's ~$150) fee and you can forgo removing the tint. Just carry that ticket with you, and if you ever get stopped again, just show them you already got one and they'll usually let you go.

I guess it all depends how much trouble you want to go through to have the clean look. I personally love it!

Can't wait for the pictures after you drop it!

Nice car but if I remember right that is against the law, even your side mirrors look to dark i believe. I used to live in vegas and i came back with the tint just on the side windows and i still got messed with when i was in LA/ Santa Monica / Hollwood. Its all up too you, but it will just give them a reason to pull you over, even know it looks good...

yes i know it is illegal for front window tint too but i know its a correctable one, costs about 10$ i was basically wondering if the windsheild is a noncorrectable one.

i put 35 and 50% samples on my windshield and 50% is the same as having nothing on there, you cant even tell i figured it was a waist of money if you go 50% because its the same.
