Debating 330e vs 328d.
Im looking to upgrade from my e70 to either a 330e or a 328d either one would be CPO. They seem to be in the same price range but I cant really decide which I want. I am leaning towards the 330e. Any suggestions, tips, and advice would be greatly appreciated! Anything I should look out for when buying them and what options are a must have?

328d has the n47, which has had its fair share of problems. I'm biased tho lol
For options i'd highly recommend ACC, heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, led angel eyes, and an audio system above the base version. Base version doesnt have an amp so retrofitting a better system is a pain where you have to split cables from the b-pillar |

N47 had its fair share of issues but BMW has addressed just about all of them, almost every major component is on warranty extension you can really own that drivetrain worry free.
I used to get 36-40mpg without effort. If you're used to going fast and racing that's not the engine for you, it pulls hard but dies out quickly. Low redline, small turbo.

I would go with the 330e, the electric only range is what would sell it for me, also, no matter how much I love the diesel the NVH difference, however so slight is still noticeable, not to mention 330e is a little bit quicker of a car.

I just went a little under 1000 miles on a little under 10 gallons of gas to finish out this tank at 99.1 mpg.
With the 330e, there are many different ways you can drive it, with different modes of operation. Keep it out of ECO Pro, and in Sport, you'll get around 35 or so. On the highway, in Auto Mode, ECO Pro under 70 mph, the mileage will be around 50 mph. So on a trip, you can run the battery down, go into SAVE, recharge the battery, go into Auto, run the battery down, and repeat. Your mileage goes up. Use the paddle shifters in Sport, your mileage goes down. It's all want you want. Fast and sporty driving with a acceptable exhaust note and spend a little more on gas, or meander around town in absolute deadly silence on EV Mode, be cheap and get near 100 miles per gallon. Keep it around town on errands and the like, plug it in as often as you can, and sometimes I can go 2 or 3 weeks without my engine ever starting. But keep in mind, run the heater in cold weather, or the A/C in super hot, your mileage WILL vary. All these EV's are temperature dependent for range, and that includes the Tesla.
