Talking

I assume you are selling these because all-weather and winter tires are not available for the rim size, is that correct? What rims and tires did you replace these with? I'm in the same boat and winter is fast approaching. I need to get something.

Good luck with the sale. If I could find winter / all-season tires to fit these rims, I'd buy them and just swap them between the seasons. I did find Continental has a all-season that fits the rear rims, but nothing for the front.

I have some 19" wheels with winters on them luckily. I think pirelli may make some winter tires but not sure otherwise. I'm trying to go down to 20" wheels actually.

Thanks! Good luck to you as well!

Check in the m40i forum if a 255/40/21 fits the front without rubbing. From a generic tire fitment side your good as your tire width supports the size and it's only a 1% diameter change which is also good. If it does fit then you can run the new Michelin PS AS4 as well as the Vredestein Wintrac Pros.

Size on Michelin would be:
255/40/21
275/35/21

Size on Vredestein would be:
255/40/21 square setup

Having the same exact issues with my M40i wheels.

Tried getting 255/40/21 front tires installed at Costco - they fit but the clearance is very narrow. The tech was concerned that it would rub going over potholes and braking

You're right, I was staring at the original front 245 size when I was comparing the 275 rear to the new 255 front. Well, if the m40i can fit a 255 front then you could also go to the 255/265 setup like the X3M has. That will give you access to Michelin summer and all seasons as well as the Scorpion winters and Vredestein winters.

If they can't fit a 255 front then it doesn't matter I guess.

yeah you have to check the fitment up front if a tire doesn't touch the shock. if you have some decent space then you good to go. 265 rear won't have any problems at all.
