Lambda error F30
Hi guys,
I have used bimmerlink to diagnose my car and found out 3 x errors regarding lambda. You can see them in attachment pic but just to be sure I'm writing them here as well: 284E00 Lambda probe to Kat, signal Nernst voltage: interruption 283400 Lambda probe to Kat, heating control: interruption 282E00 Lambda probe to Kat, heating control: short circuit to positive Should I avoid using the car until I fix the issue? What negative effects should I experience if I continue to drive the car? Car is a bmw F30 320d ED from 2015 (B47 engine) |

Did you have any recall for your car? I have a 2015 420d b47 same engine and there's a recall about EGR, doing it next week. I also have the same 284E00 lambda error and dpf getting blocked, regen error...will let you know if it was fixed.
If not, it's probably the oxygen sensor going bad. It's a known problem in these cars... |

Hi guys,
When I posted the topic here I also did it on the regional UK forum and provided the solution there but forgot to input it on this forum as well. Here you go: "Just to let you know, I have changed lambda sensor PN 13628570689 responsable for the error codes and the car behaviour has changed a lot. The fuel consumption has decreased and also dpf regeneration doesn't happen as often as before I changed the sensor." Cheers |
