Rear subframe brace modification

Does anyone have a suggestion for modifying my rear subframe brace after installing my exhaust? It sits 3-4 inches lower by diff after installing exhaust. Currently it's not installed but was advised to modify & re-install Or not drive too spirited.

What exhaust is it? If it was designed and installed right, the brace should fit back on.

Some exhausts have a clearance issue at the flat plate with the 4 bolts on either side that E92 William posted a picture of. This is handled with longer bolts and spacers between the plate and chassis - but it sounds like your fitment issue is more severe and further back?

I have a Magnaflow 16537. It's for E90 but I have a E91 so it's a little longer.

If it's a length issue, take it to a muffler shop and have them cut a section out and reweld it to fit. Don't modify the brace to fit the exhaust.

I have the Magnaflow - it really seems it was universally designed for E92. While the hangers fit for me, the tip is probably 2" farther out than a typical Euro design. You don't happen to have a Xi model do you?
