I am from Belgium and get diplomatic sales price .

I currently have what they call in Europe :"select contrat".

I assume this is kind of a leasing you have in the us : i have defined the nbr of km i will do per year, the number of year of my contract, the deposit. At the end of the contrat, you can give your car back to BMW, or sell it yourself and pay them back .

I am the owner of a F83. New price was 82.937 euro with reduction and options. 5 year contract, 10.000 km per year. 10k deposit. With this, i pay 670 euro per month for 5 year. And the value of the car at the end is 36.059 euro (so what i still need to pay them at the end, the value of the car). Convertible usually get lower value btw.

Just receive the new offer for a G82. Price is 84.079 euro. 10 k deposit. 10.000 km. 5 year. i am at 850 euro .3 reasons mainly.

1. new price for the G82 is a bit higher (even if my convertible was 10k or so higher at the time, it means the new G82 is +- 10% more then then old one)
2. interest rate for the contract are higher 3.49 compared to 0.99 . i can get them lower anyway.
3. and what worries me more, the last payment is only 31.934 .

It means that the devaluation compared to my convertible is higher which is very surpising as convertible devaluate more then the regular M4...

Last details, the CO2 increased by 15%. it is now 229 in the old system and 234 in the new one. In Europe in some country (like France), that will means crazy taxes. All sport car try to lower those numbers, i am surprised not this one .

Will wait to see the price for the X drive, in february, the interest goes down to 0.99 in Belgium, so it will be the month to choose if i stay with M ...
