BMW Driving Experienced hasn't wasted any time promoting the all-new G80 and G82, as there is a one day program, BMW M Snow Experience in Saalfelden, located in the Salzburg Alps with the BMW M3 Competition and BMW M4 Competition.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, ice training i.e. drifting in Arjeplog, Sweden is cancelled for 2021, as I was looking forward to returning for 5 days of drifting in the new G80/G82 and using the new M Drift Analyser, as BMW M is planning to return for the 2022 season.

Ibiza Were you in Sweden this January with Donnie and Laura? It was a blast...until I flew off the snowmobile and shattered my collarbone, collapsed my lung and broke some ribs. I was dying to go back in 2021, but now can't wait for 2022!

No, I was in Sweden in 2019, as I always book my own trips for the BMW Driving Experience and pass on the group trips, as I travel a lot to Europe for vacation— that was pre-COVID. My group passed on the snowmobile for additional time drifting.

So sorry to hear you shattered your collarbone and had a pneumothorax from the blunt rib trauma/fracture. I assume you had to stay locally until the chest tube was removed.

Haha, yea it was an 8 day stay at the regional hospital in Norbotten! They didn't put in a tube until day 5...after it got worse...long story and a mess, but I'm mostly recovered. Collarbone will likely be in 2 pieces forever. Got home too late to operate and now they are worried they'll shorten it too much to do it.
